Make your dream a reality with help from the experienced architectural designers at East Auckland-based Archibuild
Embarking on a building project is a big and potentially daunting prospect. To bring your dreams to reality takes some difficult decisions and partnering with the right designers and builders is key.
Archibuild offers you the perfect solution to both aspects of your building project - a quality architectural designer and an experienced house builder all under one roof. We can handle both the design and build phases, ensuring plans that work both architecturally and practically, better communication and a smoother process from concept to completion.
Our architectural design services encompass everything from initial planning to detailed designs and specifications
Consultation
During this first stage, we'll meet with you to discuss the scope of work in detail. Following this discussion we'll develop a fee proposal for the next step which is concept design.
Concept design
At this stage, we'll develop a range of ideas, usually presented through initial sketches or drawings or models. These offer a number of different solutions taking into account the project scope, budget and other requirements. During this stage the details are refined and the final design is shaped. This phase can also include a more detailed estimation of costs.
Detailed Drawings and Consents
At this stage, a detailed design is developed. This includes specifying construction materials and creating a set of detailed plans and relevant documentation. At this stage we will also identify any building or resource consents that are required and apply for them with the relevant local authority.
Tendering
Once consents have been approved the project can be put out to tender. At this stage our builders, with input from our trusted subcontractors, will tender for the construction.

During the construction phase, regular visits are made to site to monitor quality
and address potential issues. We can communicate any issues to you or you can also visit the site. The level of involvement can be tailored to your preferences.
Completion
